Rotary Club of Snoqualmie Valley

CLUB PROJECTS

Snoqualmie Gateway Park

Located on the SE corner of the intersection of SR 202 and Snoqualmie Parkway in Snoqualmie Washington, this park will serve as a trailhead for the Snoqualmie Valley trail system. It will include a parking lot, an amphitheater with a small stage, a caboose that will serve as an information center for the Chamber of Commerce, a restored train engine rebuilt by the Railroad Museum, and a play structure for children. The park is the club's project for the Rotary Centennial-- hence the name "Rotary Centennial Park". The park will be dedicated on the 100th anniversary of Rotary's founding, February 23rd 2005.

From Thursday 2005-08-18 through Saturday 2005-08-20 we laid cement pavers in the section of the park that is beside the train engine. Click here to see photos.

Computers For Uganda

Under the leadership of club member Thomas Mosby, in 2003 and 2004 the club helped send students from Mt. Si High School and Forest Ridge High School to Uganda to provide computers for schools. This project was implemented in cooperation with District 5030's Computers For The World project.
